Quality Roofing, Start to Finish
Watch how The Roof Gurus inspects, repairs, and restores roofs across the Texas Panhandle.
When Hail and Wind Hit, the Paperwork Hits Harder
The Texas Panhandle sits high on the High Plains, and that elevation brings weather that punishes roofs. Spring and early summer drop hail that can bruise and crack shingles, while the steady winds along I-40 lift and crease them. At roughly 3,600 feet, the sun beats down hard and sharp temperature swings stress roofing materials year-round. The damage isn't always visible from the ground, and a roof that looks fine can quietly leak for months.
Then comes the insurance side. Many Panhandle homeowners carry a wind and hail deductible set as a percentage of the home's insured value, and figuring out what's covered , and what an out-of-town adjuster will actually approve , leaves people guessing. Out-of-town crews often roll in after a storm, push a quick sale, and disappear before the first problem appears. When you need a repair later, there's no one to call.
What most homeowners want is simple: a local roofer who will climb up, show them exactly what's happening, and explain the insurance process in plain words. Someone who lives nearby and will still be there next season. That's the gap The Roof Gurus set out to fill.
